CLIENT
Power Transmission Services (PowerTransmissionService.com) is a 24 hour emergency industrial gearbox repair service located in Middletown, Delaware. PTS is owned by Rick Russell. When an industrial factory engine fails, they don’t call auto transmission shop. They need an industrial gearbox repair service with many years experience repairing a vast array of manufacturer transmissions.
PRIMARY GOAL
Many manufacturers have begun to acquire small repair operators or directly compete with services. Once allies, now adversaries. PTS had an antiquated website. They needed a new face, and that face would need to call out effectively to a specific audience in search of repair on short notice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client needed an email solution without an I.T. department to count on. We acquired a dedicated domain for email, set up DNS to use Google mail services like a standard free Gmail account. We configured DNS & web-server. Installed WordPress & respective applications including schema. Created and configured Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and Google Tag Manager (with base tag) for SEO data.
STYLE & TONE
Knuckle-draggers. No nonsense. That’s the audience. Matching that tone was easy. Style — another story, because style doesn’t necessarily mean glorifying grit. The solution was quite frankly, fun. Big images, spot colors, and making darkness and light clash make this website truly unique.
